Visualization in the Gym 8-25Hey gang! Sorry it’s been so long since I’ve said anything. I don’t know what I did, but I think I pulled a back muscle somehow doing something… and trust me, NOTHING sexual! So anyway, I’ve been a bit out of commission when I get home from work and usually tend to go right to bed. But hey, fear not… the “visualization” postings are back! I know how important your time in the gym is, and hey, if you have a goal of what you want to look like, I’m sure it’ll make the journey all the more woth it in the long run, right? So without further ado, here we go with this week’s bunch of hot bodies to meditate on
Our first guy has an INCREDIBLE body, don’t you think? A totally defined 8 pack, a great hard chest, and a hot “v” line going down into the nether regions of his shorts
. Who knows if any of it comes from being in the ocean, but hey… if he’s there, I want to be too! ![]()
Now I know that there are some of you out there who probably just want to tone down your body and rip it up without putting on much bulk. Not to worry, I haven’t forgotten about you!
Our next guy is just for you… perfectly lean bod, hard abs… everything you probably want, right?
Now I totally had one particular friend in mind when I saw a picture of our next guy… (and you know who you are!). Just look at this guy’s arms! They’re huge! What do you think? 20″? 22″?
He could wrap his arms around me anyday heheh ![]()
Our last guy, however, is something that I aspire to… I think he’s incredible, don’t you? Perfect musculature, a lean midsection… mmmm… ok, now I need to get back to bed and dream of the possibilities heheh. Hope you guys have a great week!

Visualization in the Gym 8-18-08Hey studs! Well, although summer may be over, and most of us will be bundling up for the winter, that’s still no excuse to let our bodies go to waste, now is it? Especially for those of you who like to vacation in those ski lodges. Who knows, you might meet some hot ski instructor!
So… what is your dream? Maybe you’d want a hot set of arms like this guy here? Jesus, how big do you think his biceps are??
Or maybe what you crave is a great set of deltoids and a solid chest like this guy here…Hmmm I kinda dig that thin line of hair going down his mid-section too ![]()
Or who knows.. maybe you want to make the guys drool over your lean abs… mmmm. I’m not usually a big fan of tattoos, but there’s something erotic about this guy with his great abs and the tattoo.. hmmmm..
Or maybe you want to be greedy and get the whole package.. just like our hot swimmer. Hmmm maybe I need to invest in a pool. If swimming in a pool makes this kind of body, I want one! ![]()

Visualization in the Gym 8-11Aloha! Ok, so I’m sure everybody’s completely glued to the Olympics like I am hehehe. And although tonight is the Men’s Team Gymnastics Finals, and Lord knows I LOVE gymnasts…this week’s batch of inspiration is a mix of various hot guys. I’ll save my tribute to the US Men’s Gymnastics team for later heheh. So anyway, I hope everybody’s having a fantastic week?
Our first hottie knows that he’s hot…but whatever, like it really matters right?
He’s got a beautiful defined chest and a nice lean set of abs. I know, everybody wants to know what’s under the towel, but hey, if I actually had that kind of picture of him, I’d have to password protect this post ![]()
Our next bit of inspiration is no stranger to the spotlight. He’s beautiful model/actor Jessie Pavelka. Just look at his incredible body…a beautiful chest, a nice set of abs, and I just can’t get over that nice vein going down his biceps ![]()
Beauty comes in many forms. For those of you who are “woodsy” kinds of people, how’s about this guy for ya? A big yet firm chest, with a nice lean mid-section…and I don’t know what it is, but when I see a guy built like this in suspenders… mmmmmm. It makes me wish I was in a cabin in the woods in front of a roaring fire ![]()
Now of course, after a day of hard work out in the woods or wherever your place of business may be, it’s always great to come back to a warm and welcoming bedroom, don’t you think? Who knows, maybe a guy like this will be waiting for you
. Then again, I’d rather have a body like this than have one waiting for me

You Go Girls!!Leave it to the women to get the first medals for the U.S. in this year’s Olympics… Mariel Zagunis, Sada Jacobson, and Becca Ward swept the floor with Women’s Individual Saber Fencing taking gold, silver and bronze respectively. You go girls!!

Visualization in the Gym 8-4Lord, is it August already? Geez, where did the time fly? Well that only means one thing…summer is coming to a close and autumn is about to begin. Isn’t it funny how August always tends to be the hottest month of the year? It almost feels like summer wants to give one big blast of heat before it retires for the year. Record triple-digit heat has been recorded all over the American continent and we here on the islands have been experiencing days of heat and humidity that makes me wonder what I’m doing living in a house that doesn’t have central a/c
Then again, what August also brings is a new school year for all the universities around the world, which also means the beginning of college sports and more displays of strength and prowess on the field of combat. And let’s not forget that the Summer Olympics begin this Friday!
With all the athletes returning to the gym to power up for their individual sports, I’m sure that many of us are also wanting to join them in our quests to power up our own bodies for another year of sports and merriment. So let me help all of you with a bit of inspiration for your workouts! Take a picture of yourself as you are right now, and on the back of it, write everything that you see that bothers you about the way you look or the way you feel on the inside. Do you have a problem with diabetes? High blood pressure? Overweight? OR maybe you’re like me and totally got into the party life of college and forgot all about how to take care of your body
. Well, have no fear… with a sensible workout program, you can fix all that if you want to.
Now that you have written down all of the things that you’re unhappy with or perhaps want to fix, find a picture of someone who has the kind of body that you want for yourself. Whether it’s someone in a magazine, or someone from one of my many visualization posts. Print it or cut it out and on the back of it, write down a list of goals that you have for yourself on the back of it. Now what I want you to do is put the two pictures somewhere, side by side, where you can see them on a daily basis. If it helps, maybe even take another picture of yourself and paste your head onto the future “you.”
I know, some of you probably think I’m totally off my rocker, but I believe, as many trainers and fitness experts do, that visualizing is a powerful proponent of any workout program. IF you can ingrain that image of your future body, I have every faith in the world that you will achieve it. Sure, you may not become an exact replica of that flawless image…but then again, maybe you will! Only you have the power to make positive change in your life.
So anyway, our first bit of inspiration this week is this image of these two hot guys having a good time at home. Personally, I prefer the guy on the left for myself. I just like how his chest is nice and full and round, and his midsection is nice and flat. That’s what I dream of for myself.
Our next picture of inspiration features a hot college swim team. I don’t know what college they’re with, but damn…swimmers really know how to build incredible bodies, don’t they? Check out the guy in the middle with the incredible abs or the guy on the bottom left corner with biceps that could hold me tight any night!
Our next hottie made it on the cover of a magazine. And why not? HIs body is incredible. Beautiful definition in his chest and a lean mid-section that falls into a great pair of trunks. Maybe some of you dream of being on the cover of a magazine. At almost 30 years old, I’m not so sure that something like that will happen for me, but you never know! ![]()
Our next guy reminds me of a lot of the guys that I used to see traipsing up and down the hallways of my dorm when I was pursuing my BA. You know the kind…the ones who are out in the field in the afternoons to return home to the dorms for a few beers and some tv at night. You know, there was a guy who looked a lot like him just down the hall from me who used to come by every night to type out his papers because he didn’t own a computer. And the worst part for me, he was ALWAYS shirtless. You know, now that I think about it… I have a feeling that he knew exactly what he was doing coming in shirtless. Bastard ![]()
And lastly for this week, our hottie on the beach below looks just incredible, don’t you think? Nice and lean with a full chest and a great set of arms. Granted, he does have too much clothes on to be at the beach, but hey…he can wear whatever he wants to, in my opinion. When I look at this picture, it does remind me of something important. Drinking lots of water EVERY DAY is very important for any healthy lifestyle. Unfortunately, as good as they taste, soft drinks and alcohol don’t help any of us keep our bodies in shape. Did you know that sugar, if it’s not burnt off through physical activity, converts into fat? One 12 oz can of soda can convert itself into one pound of fat! And let’s not even get started on alcohol and how it converts to fat. So let’s not forget the importance of water. We can go several days without food, but only so long without water. And think about it, whenever you have a killer workout, what’s the one thing you desperate to drink? Water! Isn’t that odd?
Of course, then the desire turns to sugary beverages or alcohol, but usually the first instinct for us all when we’re dehydrated is to get some water into our systems. So make sure to be like this guy and carry a bottle of water wherever you go ![]()
