Another week gone.. and it’s time to start all over again.  I hope everyone has a kick-ass week in the gym, building your ultimate body!  Much love to everyone!

Gosh, is it the summer solstice already?  Gosh, where is the time going??   I guess wat my mom always said is true… the older you get, the faster time flies by…  Anyway, I guess that just means that we need to get on with it and embrace every minute and never forget it huh?

Ok maybe not so much… but hey, the sun is out, so it’s time to get out there and take advantage of it, right?  Unfortunately, I injured myself last week, so I’m kinda stuck without working out for a while..but hey, everybody else should be out and about!  And if you’re having a bit of trouble getting to the gym every day and need a bit more inspiration… maybe this week’s batch can help you out.

I always used to see guys like this walking around the campus at UH.  I wonder if they know how lucky they are to be that fit?

Hmmm to find that “V” line again… that would be a dream   Someday.. it will be mine… oh yes, it will be mine

Monday, Monday…  How’s everybody’s week going?  I can’t believe that summer is here already, can you?  Ok, so it’s not officially “summer” until the summer solstice, but you can definitely feel the change in heat around here.  I hope it’s warming up for the rest of you too, wherever you are … well, maybe except for those in the southern hemisphere who are now going through your winter hehe.

For the rest of us though, I hope that summer brings you all the opportunity to get outside, get a good workout in, and of course, enjoy the natural beauty that Mother Nature has provided.  And now, without further ado, on with this week’s batch of inspiration!  Hope you dig it!

It is a sad, sad day as one of my favorite and most memorable tv stars returned Home today… the illustrious and irrepressible Rue McClanahan, famed starlet of screen and stage, passed away today at the age of 76.

From her tv appearances to her Broadway show-stoppers, Rue McClanahan always brought a smile to my face whenever she would perform.  Of course, I had never known her personally… but I cannot say how many laughs that woman gave to people like me over the years.

I think almost any gay man could find something to relate to as she performed her most famous role as “Blanche” on the Golden Girls.  Her style, her wit.. and of course her love for passion and men always made us gay boys fawn over her.   And outside of her tv and film personas, Rue was always a champion of gay rights and HIV prevention.

Here are some highlights of the saucy minx known as “Blanche.”

And possibly my most favorite “Blanche” moment ever… this one still has me in tears laughing every time I watch it

I think it’s safe to say that this woman will be missed by many… even way out here in the middle of the ocean.  Maybe one day, when I get the pearly gates, I’ll finally get to meet her myself   Until then, we always have the memories…
